Canopy, the leader in Enterprise AI for oncology, today announced a partnership with Columbus Oncology & Hematology, a leading independent practice in central Ohio and a member of the ONCare Alliance. Columbus Oncology & Hematology is implementing Canopy’s comprehensive platform, including Remote Therapeutic Monitoring (RTM) and operational AI, to support care delivery between visits for both patients and staff.
"We’re excited to implement RTM with Canopy as part of our continued investment in more proactive, connected care. RTM has the potential to improve visibility into the symptoms patients experience across treatments, including oral and novel therapies, while supporting nurses with triage prioritization and decision support pathways."
—Marlo Blazer, PharmD, BCOP, Executive Director of Clinical Strategy, Columbus Oncology & Hematology
Canopy helps practices manage the growing complexity of cancer care by providing a unified AI platform across patient services: triage, call center and communications, front office, and pharmacy. By embedding AI and automation into existing workflows, Canopy enables faster issue resolution, reduces manual work, and helps practices capture sustainable reimbursement.
"The type of care each patient receives matters just as much as their care experience. As we begin using the Canopy platform, we look forward to giving patients new ways to engage with their care team and receive support between visits."
—Joseph Hofmeister, MD, President and Chief Medical Officer, Columbus Oncology & Hematology
"Technology is only transformative in oncology when it makes care easier for clinicians to deliver and easier for patients to access. We’re committed to advancing this standard through our partnership with Columbus Oncology & Hematology."
—Lavi Kwiatkowsky, Founder and CEO, Canopy.
In oral and poster presentations at the 2026 ASCO Annual Meeting, active use of the Canopy RTM platform demonstrated:
- 28% reduction in hospitalizations in metastatic solid tumors, corresponding to ~$3.2M in estimated annualized cost savings per 1,000 patients treated for one year.1
- 82% longer median time to treatment discontinuation and 51% lower hospitalization risk at 12 months in immune checkpoint inhibitors, corresponding to ~$12.6M in estimated annualized cost savings per 1,000 person-years of ICI treatment.2
These studies add to Canopy’s growing foundation of clinical evidence.
