NEW YORK—Canopy, the first Intelligent Care Platform for oncology, today announced that Canopy Founder and CEO Lavi Kwiatkowsky was selected as a recipient of the 40 Under 40 in Cancer Award.
40 Under 40 in Cancer is an awards initiative to identify and recognize the contributions being made across the field of cancer by rising stars and emerging leaders under the age of 40 years.
Having lost family members to cancer, Kwiatkowsy realized that even though care teams delivered excellent care, better technology could have improved outcomes and prevented personal suffering. This experience gave him the passion to pursue a solution and in 2018 he created Canopy—the first Intelligent Care Platform for cancer—to enable providers to deliver improved patient outcomes, streamline practice workflows, and generate new revenue from value-based care. Today, Canopy’s platform is a suite of interoperable software solutions that include ePRO-based Patient Monitoring (ePROs), symptom management pathways, clinical ticketing tools, as well as automated billing and reimbursement capture for programs like Chronic and Principal Care Management.
40 Under 40 Award sponsors, Amplity Health, Association for Value-Based Cancer Care (AVBCC), Upstream Partners, Swim Across America, and The National Community Oncology Dispensing Association, Inc. (NCODA) will be honoring the 40 Under 40 in Cancer Class of 2023 during an in-person and virtual ceremony on Saturday, June 3, 2023, at 6:00 pm CT. Interested individuals can learn more and register to attend the event at: www.40under40incancer.com
Canopy provides oncology practices with a comprehensive platform for all the care that happens between visits. Canopy’s multi-channel ePRO and remote triage system enables practices to identify and prioritize patients who need help, standardize and resolve their issues using intelligent software, and generate new revenue streams from value-based care.
